WP3 (Valorisation and Reconfiguration) will study how tyres are part of the enabling process of other infrastructures. This Work Package will focus on the circular economies of valorisation and reconfiguration of ELTs, in particular in the habitat/housing sector. It will examine the technical, cultural and economic challenges of tyre repurposing in both formal and informal sectors. How can the gap between formal/engineering and informal knowledge be bridged to increase the economic opportunities of a burgeoning upcycling sector?
